Michael Lucas (otherwise Stanley) found guilty on an indictment for breaking into the dwelling house of John Pannell in the parish of Haslemere on 1st August 1739; and stealing therefrom 2 gold rings (valued at 30/-), 4 lengths of ribbon (valued at 12d), a knife (valued at 1d), 1 Portuguese gold coin (value 36/-), 1 Portuguese gold coin (value 18/-), 2 gold guineas and 12/6 in money numbered.
